Born and raised in New York City, GERRE SAMUELS, a licensed
teacher and administrator, taught for 25 years in the public school system. Additionally, she was an adjunct professor at
THE COLLEGE of NEW ROCHELLE for 15 years, as well as serving as an editor and educational consultant in the private sector.
All
along, she had a calling to the arts. Gerre began her professional career in 1999, co-starring in the feature film "DELAYED."
She has utilized her talents in on-camera commercials and voice overs, television, and stage. Her television appearances include
the dramatic series "DEADLINE" and "100 CENTER STREET".
With Gerre's ability as a singer and songwriter, she has amassed
a wide range of credits including performances at DON'T TELL MAMA, THE TRIAD, and the NUYORICAN.
