Ozzie Stewart started in dance in her native Trinidad, and gained scholarships to Alvin
Ailey, Joffrey Ballet and Martha Graham dance schools. She then worked with Nobel Laureate Director, Dr Derek Walcott, in
O Babylon, and Joker of Seville. Returning to performing in September 2003 after a long hiatus, Ozzie
has, (in addition to Get a Grip), apppeared in Queen Latifah's film, The Cookout and the Barrow Group's
production of Jose Rivera's, Sonnets for an Old Century.
