Aquarius Cheers was born and raised in New York City where he became involved with the arts at an early age. He reluctantly attended Tap Dance
classes at the urging of his mother. At Broadway Dance Center he developed an affinity for the performing arts.
At the time, Hip Hop was becoming a force to be reckoned with and he immediately gravitated towards it. He defines himself
as an artist but his art utilizes more than just oils and acrylics, "I'm an MC, I paint masterpieces with my rhymes and my
canvas is humanity." He's currently working on his debut album The Dawning Of... through Flytalker Records
and can be heard on the album I'll Bring It To Your House by P.A.T. Aquarius has recently performed at
numerous venues throughout New York city including, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Nell's and The Boudoir Lounge.
Get A Grip is Aquarius' second film and he is elated to be working with Kevin West and Renton Kirk.
