Ray Ultarte was born and raised in N.Y.C. on the streets of the upper Westside.  Growing up no father figure, Ray's mother made sure he did not become a product of the environment.  He attended the High School of Fashion Industry and majored in photography and jewelry design.  Through this time of his life he always loved the competitiveness in playing football and especially enjoyed dancing.  He was blessed with the opportunity to work and danced with the likes of Mariah Carey, Backstreet Boys, Dru Hill, Lil Mo and many others.  In addition, he's well known to club promoters in some of the hottest New York City Nightclubs.

Ray Ultarte knew he always wanted to get into the world of acting and began doing background work in such films as "The 25th Hour" and "The Fighting Temptation."  He also landed a dancing role in "Marci X."  Through his hard work and dedication, he was fortunate enough to land his first speaking role in "R-Xmas" directed by Abel Ferrea.  He also starred in a student film called "Romeo" directed by Dana T and an independent feature called "Get a Grip" written by Renton Kirk.
